Claudie Delmas Lovett -DUBLIN - Services for Mr. Claudie Delmas Lovett, 73, of Dublin, will be held 10am Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Hardy Owens, Rev. Kelly Maddox, and Rev Alan Wiggins will officiate. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. -Mr. Lovett was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Almira Lovett. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the Brewton Baptist Church, a member of VFW and Moose Lodge. Mr. Lovett was retired from the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. Mr. Lovett owned and operated Lovett Pest Control until the business was sold. He passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010. -Survivors include wife of 30 years, Shirley Brantley Lovett of Dublin; daughter:, Dianne Spires (Ken) of Greensboro, GA; son, Barney Hester (Lynn) of Macon, GA; four granddaughters, Allison Smith (Chris) of Clarksburg, Maryland, Leslie Bryant (Adam) of Arlington, VA, Thea Ellis of Athens, GA, and Brittany Hester of Athens, GA; three great-grand-daughters, Kendall Smith, Caitlyn Smith, and Madelyn Smith; brother, Ronald Lovett of Dublin; aunt, Grace Franks of Dublin; two sister-in-laws, Agnes Knight of Dublin and Betty Bracewell (Earl) of Dublin; other family members, Lori Claflin, Chad Caban, Amber Perry, Darla Lauer, Kristen Lauer, and Mike Lauer -The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6pm until 8pm at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. -Please visit www.townsendfuneralhome.com to sign the online memorial register.
