Macon, GA- Madonna Lynette Simmons passed on August 28, 2012. Services will be on Saturday, September 1, 2012 @ 2:00pm @ Williams Chapel AME(Zebulon Rd.) with burial in Threatt Family Cemetery. Family contact: 8670 Thomaston Rd. Services entrusted to Bentley and Sons Funeral Home, Macon.

My deepest sympathy!, Madonna will be sorely missed. She was the healthcare worker that helped take care of my late father. I had the pleasure of meeting Madonna about two months ago while she was taking care of my Father. She always came in with a smile on her face which brought comfort to all of us. She provided wonderful care for my Father, and gave support to all of our family. My Father passed away a little over two weeks ago. I am sure they are both in heaven celebrating eternal life together with Jesus. My thoughts and prayers are with the Simmons family during their time of sorrow.

I love and miss Madonna. She was dedicated to her job and to her family. She was the sister I wish I had. she did a wonderful job taking care of my mother and always went beyond the call of duty. To the simmons family, Madonna is an angel in heaven and she will always be with you.

I met Madonna through her taking care of my mother with Southern Care Hospice. We became close right away. she was like a sister to me. We confided in each other and she always went beyond the call of duty. She would give me opportunities to run errands while she was tending to my mother. After my mother passed in June, she continued to check on me from time to time to make sure I was ok. I will truly miss my good friend.

Madonna was an angel to the Carstarphen family. As a hospice aide, she took care of my Mother, Brother, Father-in-Law and was currently taking care of my Dad. Her smile and tender heart always lightened my load. You were an angel here on earth. I'm sure the many patient you took care of were waiting as you entered those pearly gates.
