Warner Robins, GA- William C. Cox, 102, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home at 3:00PM. Visitation will be held Saturday April 19, 2014, from 1:30PM to 3:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Rev. Missy Blumenthal will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Heart of GA Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
Mr. Cox was born on September 20, 1911, in Purcell, OK to the late William and Tassa Cox, Sr. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he was in the Calvary. Mr. Cox was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Supervisor Equipment Specialist. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. Mr. Cox was a 32 degree Mason with the Tyrian Lodge 111 and a member of the Scottish Rites. He was a former Deputy Coroner of Houston County.
Survivors include- his wife of 68 years Billie Cox; children, William (Bill) III, Robert (Bob), Reinita, Araminta; grandchildren, Monica, Travis (Janet), Amy, Josh, Tazha (Kevin), Tarah (Jason), Jeremy, Michael; 10 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Arminta, John and I want to express our sympathy to you and your family during this difficult time, it is so hard to lose a parent, you were one of the first people to come to us when Sean died, I never forgot that gesture, my prayers go out to each of you, I hear heaven is a wonderful place, I'll bet your dad is happier than we can imagine.
