Ralph Howell Obituary
June 6, 1928 - July 19, 2017
Haddock , GA- Ralph Howell passed away surrounded by family on July 19, 2017. A memorial service will be held at Hart's Jones County Chapel on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 5:00 PM, with Pastors Ronnie Hollis and Charles Osborne officiating. The family will greet friends one-hour prior to the service at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Evangelistic House of Prayer Church, 40 Huckleberry Lane, Fort Valley, GA 31030.
Mr. Howell retired as a crew leader at Armstrong World Industries. He was a very active member at his church, Evangelistic House of Prayer Church, where he served as a deacon. He enjoyed gospel singing in many churches, assisted living facilities, and many other venues. Most importantly, Mr. Howell was a very devoted husband, father, brother, and friend.
Mr. Howell is survived by his children, Diane (Wayne) Roach of Belton, SC; Darrell (Melonie) Howell of Haddock, GA; Denise Howell of Byron, GA; grandchildren, Jarrod Roach; Kelly Roach; Joshua Howell; Erin Howell; Jacob Howell; seven great grandchildren; brother, Dyerl Howell of Lewiston, NC; and a very close friend, Liz Layfield. Mr. Howell was predeceased in death by the love of his life Elizabeth Ann Howell, one brother, and three sisters.

Two precious friends finally made it back together. They were both two of the sweetest people I know. I miss seeing them both after they left Byron. I was one of the family they both said and they treated me as though I was. Will be praying for comfort for the family.

Dear Family,
My sincerest prayers and thoughts are with you at this sorrowful time. My sisters and I loved Ralph and Ann for many years. They were very special people. Just the finest you could ever know.
Ralph will be missed just as much as Ann.
We attended Society Hills Church with them many years before they joined EHOP.

I have wonderful childhood memories of special times shared with your parents. Mr. Ralph and Mrs. Ann were the BEST! You were so blessed to have such wonderful loving and supportive parents.
