Lizella, GA- James Andrew Rumney Sr. 62, of Lizella, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017. The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road Macon.
Born in Macon, he was the son of the late George Rumney, Sr. and Joyce "Tiny" Rumney. He was a retired Plumber with Ricky Heath Plumbing. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, George Rumney, Jr., Bobby Rumney, and Linda Tanner.
He is survived by his children, James Andrew Rumney, Jr.(Cindy) and Angel Michelle Smith(Shane), Brother, Danny Rumney, Sr.(Brenda) Grandchildren, David Watts Jr and Makayla Smith.Sister; Geneva Cameron.Long time friends, Ricky Godfrey, and Barbara Reynolds.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations go to the Macon-Bibb County Animal Shelter, 4214 Fulton Mill Rd, Lizella, GA 31052

Daddy I miss you everyday. Just to hear you call me baby girl one more time would mean the world. My heart breaks without you but I know you are at peace. So many people loved you and will miss you so much. You were the most stubborn man I know but I know I got it honest. You were such a hard worked and always helped anyone who needed it. I love you always.

MY EX HUSBAND-FATHER OF MY CHILDREN,NEIGHBOR AND A GOOD FRIEND TO ME AND REGGIE.HE WOULD DO ANYTHING HE COULD FOR ANYBODY. HE WILL BE MISSED ESPECIALLY ON OUR BIRTHDAYS WHEN WE WOULD ALWAYS CALL EACH OTHER JUST TO SAY "I LOVE YOU." HE WOULD NEVER CALL OUT FOR HELP BUT WAS SO APPRECIATIVE FOR ANY HELP THAT WAS GIVEN.SO GLAD HE IS NO LONGER STRUGGLING TO BREATHE ANYMORE.
