WATERVILLE -- Teresa A. Plante, age 75, of 39 Barnet Ave., passed away peacefully on April 19, 2011, at the Oak Grove Center in Waterville.

In addition to being survived by her loving husband of 55 years, she is survived by one sister, Cecile Grenier of Waterville; two brothers, Rosaire Jalbert and his wife, Theresa, of Lewiston and Marcel and his wife, Helen, of Vernon, Vt.; and six sisters-in-law, Dorothy Jalbert of Lewiston, Monique Jalbert of Auburn, and Madeleine Roy, Pearle Vashon, Carmen Plante and Carmel Pinnette, all of Waterville.

She is also survived by her two sons, Paul and his fiancŽe, Lou Ann, of Yarmouth, and Thomas and his wife, Susan, of Waterford, Conn.; her two daughters, Celeste King of San Juan Bautista, Calif., and Michelle Snicer and her husband, Gregory, of Fremont, N.H.; six grandchildren, Carolyn, Mark, and Benjamin Plante, Nicholas and Sean King, and Christina Snicer and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Arthur Jacques; three sisters, Antoinette Caron, Emerentienne "Rose" Jalbert and Helena Lebrun; and four brothers, Emile, Dominique, Robert and George Jalbert.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Easter Sunday, April 24 at the Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., in Waterville. Family and friends are also invited to attend a funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 25 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 112 Silver St., Waterville. I was so very sorry to hear of Terry's passing. I met her only a few times when her husband and I worked together at Stone and Webster - she was a lovely, lovely lady and certainly will be missed by all who knew her. Joe, you and your family are in my thoughts.

Ma Tante, I can hear your laugh in my ears as I think about all the wonderful family times. I see your beautiful smile that you gave to all and your kind gentle eyes as you always welcomed us. These I will hold in my heart. I LOVE YOU Always and will sadly miss you Forever.

May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
The sun shine warm upon your fields
and until we meet again...
May God hold you in the palm of his hands.

While I'm very sad that Mom has gone on to our Lord, I'm sure she will be at peace and praying for those of us struggling down here in the mortal world. I will never forget that beautiful smile that are in these pictures. Peace & Love to you always. Your son Paul
