Dot was predeceased by her husband, Merrill Keaten, in 1968; two sons, Terrence Keaten in 1992 and Randall Keaten in 1995; two brothers, Henry and Edward Chadbourne; five sisters, Edna Smith, Carolyn Worcester, Erma Reed, Annie Keaten and Claire Corson.
She is survived by two daughters-in-law, Donna Keaten, and Norma Leavitt and husband Stanley; three grandchildren, Tammy and husband Joel Barker, Randall and wife Laura Keaten, and Jennifer and husband Derek Fales; four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Rylee, Reese and Ryan; two brothers, Vaughn Chadbourne, and Basil and wife Alta Chadbourne; and three sisters, Wilma Chadbourne, Marilyn Clapp and Evelyn Keaten.
There will be no visiting hours. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cambridge. Memorial donations may be made to the Harmony Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 14, Harmony, ME 04942. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter. I smile when I see her as it also reminds us of our Grandmother. Gram/Wilma thought the world of Dorothy/Dot. She was proud of her poetry and ability to doument the family history, among other things. She was always very nice to me , her soft spoken voice and patient, friendly personality is fondly remembered. Our best to you and your family. Linda

Our deepest sympathy to all the Chadbourne relatives with special condolences to Gram, Vaugh,Basil and Alta, Evelyn,
Marilyn, Donna, Norma,Tammy,Randy and Jennifer. Gram spoke
frequently of Dot with great fondness. Memories of her poetry and

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire famly. Family was always important to Dorothy and she cherished the time spent with everyone. I know she was very proud of her sons and their wives, and she always bragged about her grandchildren. Hold her memories close and know she is always with you. Aunt Dorothy was a very special lady who will be greatly missed, Rest in Peace.
