Margaret Savoy Obituary
She was born July 9, 1939, in Hodgdon, the daughter of Lewis P. and Jennette (Bard) Markey Sr. She was educated in the schools of Hodgdon and graduated from Hodgdon High.
In January 1957, she married Elden Savoy Sr. Margaret worked at Bic Pen in Milford, Conn., as a machinist until her retirement. She loved playing cribbage, watching NASCAR and the Red Sox, and camping with her family all over New England.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Elden; her daughters, Chiquita Welch, and her husband, Frank, of Strong, and Catherine O'Dea and her companion, Joseph, of Farmington; her son, Elden Savoy Jr., and his wife, Deborah, of Connecticut; five grandchildren, Susan, Danielle, CJ, Barbara Ann and Margaret Ann; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters; five brothers; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, David.
