Hi Nancy,

This is Angela Gentry from LLBean peak 2007 in single pack @ the OFC. I helped you at the desk and with organizing everyone. It was nice to have met Ryan and Shaun that peak season too. I am so truly sorry to hear of your loss. I am glad, however, that you do have 2 wonderful sons to be there for you during this time. God bless your family!

Nancy,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Al was a very special individual and loved by his friends and neighbors here at Cottage Park as he was fondly known as "The Mayor".

Warm regards,

Nancy,
My thoughts and love are with you and Ryan and Shaun at this sad time. Alvah holds a very special place in my life. Gosh, I've known Al since I was 16 - over 43 yrs. During the early SMVTI days he, David & I went for many "rides" in his corvette, sometimes to New Hampshire - just for the heck of it. We had many many good times at his house visiting his parents & sisters. Al was certainly one of a kind - so are you. I remember when you met. There was no question, Al fell in love and it was wonderful. On we went, having families, island picnics together, visiting you in Portland - making great memories. I'm sending a big hug. Shedding some tears but so glad to have had Alvah as my friend. Love, Linda

I knew Al through the Boy Scouts when his sons were involved. I'll never forget the Scoutmaster interview when I went for Eagle. The respect and words he offered live with me every day.

I met Al a few times while he was roommates with my Dad, Freddy McInnis, at Maine Medical Center this past winter. What a great guy Al was; always very kind and positive. My father really enjoyed Al's company, and i did too. May they both rest in peace....
