Eileen Marsh Obituary

Eileen Lovell
Marsh, 60
ACTON -- Eileen L. Marsh, 60, of Acton, died peacefully in her home on Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011, after recently being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Eileen was born in Sanford on Nov. 23, 1950, the daughter of Richard and Ernestine (Thibodeau) Lovell. She attended St. Ignatius School through the 8th grade and was a graduate of Sanford High School, with the Class of 1969.
Following graduation, Eileen trained to become a certified nurse's aide with Maine Medical Center in Portland. With her caring and helpful ways, she found her work both challenging and yet very rewarding. She also worked for a time at Luigi's Pizza in Springvale before urban renewal changed the look and feel of the block.
Eileen loved grandchildren, her cats Peanut and Andrew and the beach. Summer camp outs with Eric's family was a special time for her. A favorite pastime was watching old movies and driving around searching for the best yard sales. She was also a creative cook and no one ever left her table hungry.
Eileen is survived by her companion of 23 years, Eric Kinney; her step daughter Heather and her children, Zachary and Theresa; her step son Michael and his children, Leola and Edwin; Eileen's mother, Ernestine; her brother Tom and wife Sondra of Latham, N.Y., and his children, Heather, Sarah and Ryan; her sister, Sandy White and husband David and their daughter, Kara Metcalf and husband Rick and their children, Lorin and Halley; their son, Benjamin and wife Heather and their children, Amber, Jordan and Mason; their son Jake and wife Jessica and their children, Justin and Jonathan; and their daughter, Katie. Eileen was predeceased by her father, Richard Lovell.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 10:30 a.m., at Forest Grove Cemetery off Baker's Grant Road in E. Lebanon, where she will be united in spirit with other family members. Following the service, friends and family are invited to the home of David and Sandy White in Shapleigh. To leave a message of condolence for the family, please visit www.autumngreenfuneralhome.com.
