SILVER SPRINGS, Fla. -- Anne E. B. (Hewey) Bucklin passed suddenly at her home in Silver Springs, Fla.
She was born in Westbrook on May 7, 1932, the daughter of the late Everett and Dorotha (Smith) Berry.
She was predeceased by Roger Bucklin, her husband of 20 years; her brother, Robert Berry; and two sons-in-law, David Ray and David Wing. Anne is survived by daughters, Marilyn Wing of New Gloucester, Sharon Cameron of Biddeford, Brenda Hewey of Oceanside, Calif., Ruth Anne Drew of Windham, son Paul Hewey of Gray; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; siblings, Albert Berry of New Gloucester; sister-in-law, Mary Berry of Gray; sister, Judith Huff of Gray; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was an awarded artist with a flair. She painted many portraits of family members, including herself and her late husband, Roger. She was hired to paint wedding portraits for some of her friends. I remember how Auntie Anne used to always cut us kids' hair when we were little, and I'm glad she was there for Mama these last couple years.
