Minnie McMahan Obituary
PORTLAND -- Minnie McMahan, 72, of Portland, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the Barron Center.
She was born in Portland, the son of Granville and Elizabeth (Plummer) Shaw. She worked as a housekeeper and a seamstress for many years. She knitting and playing Bingo.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond McMahan in 1997. Minnie is survived by her daughter, Vicki McMahan of Portland; two grandchildren, Christopher and Cheyennee; a brother, Melvin Shaw of Standish, and a sister, Sandra Phipps of Virginia.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday. Interment will follow in Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland.
