Edward Milton Teagardner

MANSFIELD: Edward Milton Teagardner, 65, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, February 01, 2012 at MedCentral Mansfield. Born October 27, 1946 in Columbus, he was the son of Darryl and Helen (Konkler) Teagardner. A veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy, Edward was involved with the POW-MIA. He worked as a computer consultant at various locations and was very involved with the Republican Party. Edward enjoyed woodworking and as a member of the NRA, he loved shooting guns at the Fin Feather and Fur Outfitters.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Teagardner; son, Edward Michael (Jamie) Teagardner; daughter, Gladys (Eugene) Haney; and grandchildren, Mycah and Logan Teagardner. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012 at11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1951 Middle-Bellville Rd., Mansfield, conducted by Bishop Parr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.

I will miss Ed, he always had insightful comments concerning the political state of our country, and a part of the tea party movement.Our country has lost a good patriot. His dedication to the Republican party and conservative values was greatly appreciated. Rest in Peace. Ed.
