Lois Edna Reeves

SHELBY: Lois Edna Reeves, 83, of Shelby, and formerly of

Nankin, Ohio, passed away early Thursday morning, November 17, 2011 at MedCentral Hospital, Mansfield, following a long illness.

Mrs. Reeves was born October 20, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio and was the daughter of Roy Reese and Edna (Shaw) Wamack

Lois had worked at Ashland Rubber Co. in the inflation and stamping department and at Eagle Rubber Co. in the inflation and stamping department. She retired from Ashland University where she had worked in the food preparation Department for 10 years.

Lois enjoyed reading and doing puzzles but especially enjoyed gardening and watching her flowers grow.

On October 24, 1945, she was married to Norville E. Reeves who preceded her in death on May 5, 1972.

She is survived by two daughters, Becky (Jerry) Holden of Shelby, OH, Penny Sue Reeves of McKinney, TX; three sons, William (Ellen) Reeves of Tampa, FL, Edward Reeves of Mobeetie, TX, George Reeves of Canadian, TX; 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; one sister, Clara Howard of Ashland and one brother, Ralph (Betty) Wamack of Ashland.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Norville E. Reeves; a grandson, Jerry Reeves; two great grandchildren, Dakota Mulkey and Dustin Wilson; and one brother, Franklin Wamack.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Earlenbaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Nankin Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home. I am so very sorry for your loss. I've known Lois for many years and worked with her at Ashland University. She was a very special lady and will be greatly missed.
