Bruce Harrod Obituary
LEXINGTON: Bruce A. Harrod, 65, of Lexington passed away suddenly, Sunday, September 2, 2012 in Sandusky, Ohio.
Bruce was born February 26, 1947 in Mansfield the son of Allen and Helen (Pinka) Harrod. He graduated from Lexington High School.
He worked for the former Tappan Company and recently as a machinist for Hi-Stat.
From Lake Erie to the Ohio River, Bruce loved the outdoors. He felt the most at peace camping in the woods or sailing on Lake Erie.
He is survived by his two daughters and their husbands Heidi and Rob Kahraman of Canal Winchester, and April and Jerry See of Mansfield; fiancée Jackie Kathary of Mt. Vernon; grandson J.J. See; brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Sharon Harrod of Ontario; sister and brother-in-law Pamela Sue and Douglas Keppler of Lucas; ex-wife Paula Jenkins of Mansfield; his aunt Mariam Swank of Bellville; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Celebrant Jerry Wilson will officiate and burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery.

We were shocked and deeply sadden to hear of Bruce's passing. He was much too young and much too nice of a person to leave this earth and we know his family and friends will miss him greatly. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

I remember Bruce as my dad's close friend and co-worker at Tappan. He would take our family to the lakes on his boat. We have many good memories of him as a very kind gentleman. He was a great guy! My sympathy goes out to his family.
