Although it's difficult now to see beyond the sorrow, when we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still. What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that our loved one died, but that they lived ! Kathy's life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you all now and in the days ahead.

Kath, dear friend, you are and always will be missed. I loved our laughs, talks, jaunts, book-sharing, meals and especially friendship. Uniquely one of a kind with your huge heart, your non judgmental way of always seeing the funny side, your generous way of welcoming all who crossed your threshold, I was blessed to have you in my life. Thank you for the time we shared.
To Dennis, Lise, Evan and Shawn, Alexandra, Jenny, Jon and Krista, Karen, Jack and Miles I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you find some comfort in the following poem.

My first Christmas in Novato, the prom, Kahlua the kitten, the time she took me to the hospital, the reason I passed my drivers test, high school graduation, lunch at the Lark Creek Inn. There so many reasons to remember Kathy. She will be missed but not forgotten. My deepest sympathy to those she loved and leaves behind. "You were just too darn young!" "It's not fair!".... Denny I am so sorry for your loss. I remember having a wonderful dinner with the two of you at your house when I was there on business, she made a wonderful dish. May God keep you in his favor and comfort you knowing that one day you will be reunited together in Heaven.

Denny and family. we have been thinking a lot about all of you and Kathy. i have fond members of the time Elsie and I were guests in your home so many (too many) year ago. it was the first time i had met Kathy and she made us feel so welcomed. she set a great breakfast table as well. but most of all i remember her love of life and her love of Denny and her children and her concerns for them. We all will miss Kathy's big heart and loving ways. She was blessed with a kind demeanor and a helping spirit. Her faithfulness to her family is unparalleled. She had a unique way of making everyone feel special and important, and always kept things light. Even as recently as 2 weeks ago she never seemed concerned about her situation, but rather wanted to discuss family interests. I trust that she is a peace with the Lord. Love, Wayne and Suellen
