Chuck loved to play the guitar since his early teens, first playing to Johnny Cash's "I Walk The Line" over and over. When he was about 15 or 16 he and friend, Johnny Miles, went to the radio station in San Rafael and paid to have a record cut. The only problem was that Johnny had such a high voice, Chuck's was mostly lost in the recording.

"CHUCK"!
"GOD" HAS TAKEN YOU TO HIS BETTER PLACE, AND FREED YOU FROM THE PAIN'S THAT YOU SUFFERED IN LIFE. I PRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
AND MAY WE SOMEDAY WALK THE PATH TO THE UPPER CABIN AGAIN, AS WE DID THOSE MANY YEARS AGO!
UNTIL THEN, BE AT PEACE!
