I remember Commander Bartee as I served with her in Yokosuka naval hospital during the viet nam war. We were a medivac hospital for severely wounded marines and corpsmen. I was one of her corpsmen for a tour there. She was THE BEST ever as she kept me out of trouble and taught me so much. She will be dear.y missed and I’m sure she’s an Angel. Always was.

I will miss Katie. She had me call her MOM when we were at Yokosuka Naval Hospital during the Viet Nam war. She was the most caring compassionate person, nurse, human in the world. The world has suffered a great loss.
