KATHRYN WAGSTAFF Obituary

Kathryn Marcella (Solley) Wagstaff 1918-2010 October 13th in Santa Cruz. San Anselmo resident 1950-63; San Francisco native; preceded in death by husband Jack, d. 1978. Survived by sons Kenneth (Davis), John (Berkeley), Alex (SF), Bruce (Sacramento), and Thomas (Menlo Park); grandchildren David, Lisa, James, Sarah, Kathryn, and Elizabeth, great-grandchildren Kendall, Brooke, Trey and Xander; sisters-in-law Meta and Eleanor Wagstaff, many nieces and nephews. UC Berkeley 1940; education certificate Cabrillo College 1970. Active Santa Cruz resident and community volunteer since 1963; Director, La Fonda Children's Center 1967-77. Gregarious, energetic, independent, loyal, infectious sense of humor, loved family, social activities, and her garden. Private remembrance pending. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Santa Cruz Stroke Center, Art Museum, or the UCSC Arboretum.
