To Gary & Nadine and all, our condolences to you all.
I knew the Massucco family growing up on Telegraph Hill (1960-66). Lena's back door faced our balcony. I loved hearing her and Nadine calling to each other, and often heard a lot of Italian. I finally made it to Italy this year, and was right at home!

Lena was such a great friend and neighbor to my granny (Ina). I will always remember her stories from North Beach and her spirited outlook on life. Lena was a beautiful person.
