"Smile, though your heart is breaking..." Thank you for the joy and love you gave to all of us-- in spite of the pain and heartbreak you kept inside. I'll miss you my dear and beautiful Aunt.

Aunt Phyllis will be remembered for her life's work by all who got the pleasure of her company. She was the life of any party or gathering and she knew it!
With love and fond memories,

As a friend of Adele's, I met you at several parties some years back. You often sang and entertained us. I know you will be missed by the many who knew and loved you.

Oh, Auntie Phyllis, I'll miss you! So full of life, so full of love, ever so curious and forever young. You lit up the lives of all those around you, and made the world a better place just by being in it.

Phyllis was my great aunt, Grandma Mimi's sister. All us kids called her Auntie Filly Folly. She was full of fun for us kids and sang to us, make us happy with her invisible dog and taught us to be proud of ourselves. She blessed my life with her love for little me and I will never forget her. A bright star in the sky of my life!

In early November I met Phyllis for the first time at Heritage House, although over the years having heard much about her and her unique life from her sister Adele. Bruce and Carol, Phyllis's very loving and attentive son and daughter in law along with Adele introduced me to her. Even though she was in a subdued state she immediately perked up and I could feel all of the substance and charm that had once been her everyday persona in life. As I spoke with her she responded mostly with nonverbal, facial expressions but they were very telling, feeling the presence she imparted to so many others during those day that she brought joy to their lives, bringing joy to me in those moments. Rest well dear Phyllis, rest well, you leave joy and happiness, love and blessings in your wake
