Living outside the Marin area, I just found out that Rick passed. I'm so incredibly sad for his family. I remember Rick dressing up during Homecoming week at TLHS. He had a love for life and people. The stars above are blessed to have you, Rick. Blessings and love to the Loberg family who was like family to us.

My sympathy goes out to the Loberg Family. Rick would come to my dorm room at OSU every morning to go to class or something more fun. I didn't see him often but spoke to him often. several years ago two of my friends traveled to the Bay area even though he didn't know them he showed them a good time in his city because they were my friends. That's the kind of person he was. Rest in Peace Yogi. I love you man.

Dear Mrs. Loberg & amazing family...
I am so sad to hear of your loss. As a mother of 4, I can't imagine what you must be going through. Who would think such a big, sweet guy would leave us so soon. There must have been a reason, and you may not understand until you are with him once again, where he is at peace. All I can see is his big smile and warm heart. What a wonderful, big guy. You all have each other to lean on and be strong...my thoughts are with you.

My heart goes out to the Loberg Family and all those who's lives were touched by Ricky. He was one Loberg who's birthday I never forgot because he once told me how easy it was to remember. He said, "I am the tallest Loberg at 6'5 and my birthday is June 5th". I never forgot that.

I never saw Ricky without a smile on his face. That memory is the gift he leaves behind. His spirit, his love of people and his true love of life. We're all better for knowing him. I am shocked and saddened to learn of Rick's passing. I have great memories of a kid who towered over me and tried to intimidate me with his size, but was a big softie. My deepest sympathties go to Joan and all the kids. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Although Rick & I were extremely close in 5th & 6th grade, I havent seen him much since TLHS...Rick & I dominated the sports seen then, always running side by side, never were we enemy combatants..I have many great memories of Rickie, mainly that he was heck of funny & one of the biggest hearts I knew..the Becks love u Rick & i will catch up with u on the other side..To the Loberg Family..u guys are awesome & we have to remember God has other plans for us in the next phase of life...You know Rick is on the Right side of God
