YONE HAYDEE MARCINOWSKI

Yone Haydee Marcinowski Passed away on November 13th, 2010 at the age of 86 with her daughter by her side. Yone was a 57 year resident of San Rafael. She was born in Peru, South America, and came to the Bay Area in 1953 with the love of her life, Henry, an American Navigator in the Merchant Marine Services. She fulfilled her dream of becoming an American Citizen, which was fitting because she was an English schoolteacher by profession. She said, "I had the best life!" She enjoyed family foremost, friends, social events and dancing, her pet "Cherry" and her many parakeets through the years. Her passion was sewing and traveling to Europe, as her son was stationed there. Yone would light up the room with her confidence and joy. She is survived by her Son: Colonel Richard Marcinowski and wife Linda; children Christina and Michelle; daughter Joan Brenta and husband Tony, children Julia and Andrew. Friends and Family are invited for a Gathering in her Honor at home of Joan Brenta, 35 Karl Ave, San Anselmo on Sunday the November 28th from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. (459-7998). An intention mass is scheduled at St. Isabella's Church in Terra Linda on December 8th at 9:00 AM. The Family suggests remembering Hospice by the Bay of Marin if making a donation.
