Judy Ann Stoner

MARION: Judy Ann Stoner, age 73, of Marion, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, April 14, 2013, from Marion Pointe.

Judy was born in Marion on July 26, 1939 to the late Harry E. and Beulah (Ault) Speck. She married Darrell L. Stoner on November 5, 1960 in Marion and together they shared over 52 years of marriage.

Judy retired as a secretary from the Whirlpool Corp. on July 26, 1996. She enjoyed all sports and was an avid golfer for many years. She was also a loyal supporter of The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Judy is survived by her husband, daughter, Debbi (Iain) Gilchrist; two grandchildren, Kyle and Amanda Gilchrist; sisters, Patsy (Huck) Howard and Kay (Jerry) Northup both of Marion; nieces, Lee Ann Kohler, Jenny Ebert, Kim Cooke, Wendy Arn, Connie Speck; a nephew, DJ Snyder; and very special friends; Don and Patsy Hayes.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. in the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with burial to follow at a later date in the Marion Cemetery. Pastor Kevin Kehn will officiate. The family will be receiving friends 1 hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Acclaim Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, Ohio, 43231, or to the Emanuel Lutheran Church.
