Grassl, Charles M. 'Carl'

Charles M. 'Carl' Grassl, 62, of Milladore passed away Monday December 16, 2013 at the Golden Living Center Three Oaks surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be held Friday December 20th from 10 to 12:00 at Martens / Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City with burial to follow in St. Killian's parish cemetery in Blenker, WI. Pallbearers will be Brian Grassl, Allen Grassl, Chris Grassl, Cody Esser, Colton Eser. Angela Grassl will be an honorary pallbearer.

Carl was born April 25, 1951 to Edward and Margaret (Kohlbeck) Grassel in Marshfield. He attended St. Killian's school and PJ Jacobs High School in Stevens Point. Carl married Cheryl Bert June 6, 1992 and later divorced.

He operated a dairy farm in Milladore and later owned and operated a sawmill on the farm property. Carl was an accomplished woodworker as he was known to turn out cabinetry and hardwood flooring.

He is survived by his mother Margaret Grassl of Marshfield and by his brothers and sisters: Alfred Grassl, Bernard Grassl, David Grassl all of Milladore, Donna Grassl of Marhfield, and Theresa (Dan) Esser of Lindsey.

He is further survived by numerous nephews and one niece

He was preceded in death by his Father.
