As you struggled with Amy's illness with courage, support and grace you realized the day to say goodby may come. As I watched your devotion and struggle to help make her life easier the past 2 years with dignity and grace, she knew she was loved deeply. When the time came to say goodbye your never ending love surrounded her and gave her peace. Saying goodbye is never easy, may you continue to find peace in the love of others that surrounds you. May you carry on her ability to always find good in others and help each other find peace as you journey through your days with Amy forever in your heart and her spirit surrounding you with love and peace. I am so sad to hear of Amy's passing. I worked with her at D&B for many years, and she was an amazing manager-very fair, caring and "down to earth." Many years after I worked at D&B she stayed in touch with me and that meant so much to me. She was truly a kind and good person. This is a tremendous loss.
