Hello. I remember Darwin Brodt when I was a senior at Neshaminy High School. I thought we could best Easton that year. After losing to P- burg in 1973 by a score of 66-0, we beat them in 1974 at our gym. To be honest, we beat them quite easily. I'm fact, one of my wrestler friend pinned a state champ from P- burg. I lost to Jim Herbert in overtime that year in the quarter finals. It was one and done. It's so much better today that you have double elimination. But even today my wrestling friends from the 1974 team truly respect the awesome wrestler that Darwin was. Thank you. William L Roth.

Brenda and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss of Darwin. He was such a wonderful human being that God thought his work was completed here on earth and said to him, Darwin, it is time to come home. I was very happy to see him at our last class reunion, and no he will be attending in spirit with all our fellow classmates that left way too soon. His smile was so contagious that he got everyone else to smile and laugh with him. Treasure the memories he has left imprinted in your heart. RIP, Darwin, and watch over all of us.

Mr. Brodt was not only a favorite teacher of mine, but to many, many more students who were lucky enough to have him. Comments have been made recently about how he changed his whole course in 2001 in order to help students learn more about 911 and what was going on in our country. He took his job serious and made it interesting. Rest in peace Mr. Brodt, you left your mark on countless people.

Although I knew of Darwin's passing, I had dreaded actually reading this obituary because I knew it would make it seem too real. My heart goes out to Brenda, Lauren, and Briana. Darwin was the very core of their family and loved them all fiercly. He was a wonderful friend to us and will be very much missed. Until I read his obituary, I had no idea he had done all these amazing things...which says a great deal about him...stellar, yet humble. Rest well, my friend. Many prayers and hugs to the family.
