Elsie Wisser, 88 years, of Allentown, formerly of Walnut Manor and recently resided with Robert and Ethel Wisser of Bethlehem, died October 12, 2004 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Kenneth I. Wisser. Born on January 5, 1916 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Alois and Mary (Fandl) Jaindl. She retired in 1976 from the former Merchants Bank, 19th and Allen streets, Allentown. She was a nurses aide for Sacred Heart Hospital for a few years. She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown. Survivors: Sons, Robert K., husband of Ethel, of Bethlehem, Kenneth E. of Allentown, William O., husband of Linda, of Coplay; daughter, Marie A. Rose of Cresent City, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Otto Jaindl of Macon, Ga.; sister, Mildred, wife of James McAllister, of Catasauqua. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 15 in the cathedral, 18th and Turner streets, Allentown. Call 9:15-10:15 a.m. Friday, Robert C. Weir Funeral Home, 1802 W. Turner St., Allentown. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown.

I miss you but I will always have my special memories of you. For instance,I remember when we would go visit you and we would have cream atreat soda in those funny gold-brown glasses with pretzels as a snack. or your delicious chocolate chip cookies. or hearing about dishes,or your beautiful cross stitch work.
