Minnie E. Ravier
Minnie E. Ravier, 91, of Lower Saucon Twp. died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at the V.N.A. Hospice House of St. Lukes, Lower Saucon Twp. She is the wife of the late Charles J. Ravier (died March 21, 1982). Born in Spring Valley on January 24, 1917, she is the daughter of the late Wallace C. and Jennie Mae (Sloyer) Eisenhart. Minnie was a crossing guard for Lower Saucon Towship in the 50s and 60s and is a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Twp. and a life member of the Spring Valley Sportsmens Association, Ladies Auxilary. Survivors: Sons, Robert E. and his wife Kay of Center Valley, James L. and his wife Karole of Allentown; daughters: Barbara S. wife of Allan H. Richards of Hudson, N.C., Sandra L. Frey, with whom she resided; grandchildren, John J.C., James, Carreen, Jennifer, Sara Ravier; great- grandchildren, Joshua and Robert Ravier, and Jacquelyn Farrell; great-great-granddaughter: Jinayza Ravier; many nephews and nieces. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 11 a.m. to 12 noon Monday, March 24, at the church, 3233 Apples Church Rd., Bethlehem, followed by services at noon with the Rev. Tricia A. McMackin, officiating. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelman.com. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown is in charge of arrangements. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church, 3233 Apples Church Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015 and or the V.N.A. Hospice at St. Lukes, 1510 Valley Center Parkway, Bethlehem 18017.
