Ralph J. Wisser
Ralph J. Wisser 88, of Allentown passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2010, in his home. He was the husband of the late Naomi L. (Grim) Wisser. Born in Seiberling Lehigh County he was a son of the late James J. and Bertha T. (Smith) Wisser. He was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kutztown. He was a member of Lehigh Lodge #326, F&AM Macungie, Reading Consistory and the Reading Rajah Shrine. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked at Mack Trucks for 37 years retiring in 1978. Survivors: Surviving daughters, Loretta G. wife of Chet Kline of Allentown and Ruth A. wife of Donald Potak of Walnutport; brothers, Myron of Allentown, and Bob of Scottsdale, AZ; sisters, Evelyn Schlenker of Kempton and Janet Faix of Andreas PA; four grandchildren and two great-grandsons; companion, Gloria Bittner of Orefield. He was predeceased by brothers, Norman Hassler, Bruce Hassler and Dale Wiser and a sister, Kathryn Ruppert. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church 1343 Long Lane Road, Kutztown, PA Call Wednesday 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Trexler Funeral Home 1625 Highland St., Allentown and Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to time of services in the church.
