Robert J. Petko
Mr. Robert J. Petko, 67, of Hometown, passed away July 5 in St. Lukes Hospital, Coaldale. Robert was a member of SS Peter and Pauls Church, Tamaqua, the Holy Name Society, a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights Of Columbus. Robert was born in Lansford, PA, son of the late George and Mary (Dancho) Petko. Robert worked for East Penn Trucking of Langhorn as a dispatcher for 39 years. He was a veteran of The Army. Survivors: Surviving is his wife Eileen (Campbell) Petko; a son John Petko, currently serving in the Air Force; a sister Marge Welty of Allentown; a brother Francis Petko and his wife Carol. Preceded in death by a brother George Jr. Services: A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in SS Peter and Pauls Church, Tamaqua. Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Lamar Christ Funeral Home, Hometown.
