Asta M. Roberts

Roberts, Asta M. Asta M. Roberts, 90 of Slatington died Monday September 28, 2015 in her home. She was the wife of the late Ernest R. Roberts who died in 2008. Born in Akranes, Iceland, she was the daughter of the late Magnus and Gudrun (Simondottir) Magnusson. Asta was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neffs. She participated with the Senior Center on Elm Street in Allentown. She was a talented floral designer and enjoyed playing bridge with her late husband Ernest. Survivors: Sons; Ernest Hugh Roberts and wife Brenda of Tampa, FL, David Roberts and wife Patricia of Walnutport. Daughter; Margo Roberts of Slatington. Grandchildren; Christopher Roberts, Nicole Kirkwood, and Daniel Roberts. Great Grandchildren; Nova Leigh, Miki, and Noel. She was the last survivor of 13 siblings. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Arlene Kirkwood, and grandson Cory Kirkwood. Services: 11am Saturday October 3, 2015 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington. No Calling hours.
