Frank DalCin

Frank DalCin, 92, formerly of Bath, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Sacred Heart Assisted Living by the Creek in Northampton, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Columba E. (Daniele) DalCin. They observed their 64th wedding anniversary on June 21st. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil on March 26, 1924, he was a son of the late Joseph and Giustina (Altoe) DalCin. Frank was employed by PennDOT where he worked for 10 years before retiring as a foreman in 1988. Prior to that, he was a self-employed ceramic tile and marble contractor in the Lehigh Valley for many years. Additionally, Frank served 1-term on Bath Borough Council and, for 25 years, was very active in Boy Scout Troop 43 of Bath. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Bath. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Columba, he is survived by four sons, Frank DalCin and his wife, Marilyn and Michael DalCin, Sr. and his wife, Dolores both of Moore Township, Daniel DalCin and his companion, Doris Jandrisevitz of Northampton, and David DalCin and his wife, Cindy of Santa Teresa, New Mexico; six grandchildren, Michael Jr., Beth, Laurie, Becky, Jennifer and Darius; five great-grandchildren, Jordan, Raianne, Justin, Claire and Carter; a sister, Antonietta Rossi of Italy; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Lino DalCin and two sisters, Anna Gasperetti and Erminia Pillon. Services: will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery, Bath.
