I am so shocked and saddened by the loss of such a beautiful, genuine, smart young mother. Situations like this I never understood. I graduated with Meagan and had known her since our elementary days. Truly one of the kindest, smartest people you will meet. My condolences to Mark, their children and the entire Duarte/Edelman family. She will not be forgotten.

Mark and family, my heart is heavy as I write this. I am so glad that I had the chance to know Meagan. I admired how put together she was. She was so sweet and I loved our talks we shared, whether it was about what I had in my cup that she gave me, or the bachelor. Meagan was so easy to talk to. Meagan wanted our job to be as easy as it could be. She even brought her own tape in to hang up pictures so she wouldn't have to bother us. My thoughts are with all of you. Rest easy Meagan.

Mark and family, I had the pleasure of getting to know Meagan at the daycare. We would always talk about The Bachelor/ Bachelorette and discuss who we liked and didn't like and who we thought was going to win. I was so amazed at how well she kept her secret as to if Kayden was going to be a girl or a boy! I would make jokes with her every week to see if she would crack! Her smile was so inviting and she was such a wonderful mom. I truly hope you keep all the wonderful memories alive and share them with each other and the boys. They are truly beautiful souls who will carry their mother with them everyday. I am so terribly sorry for your loss! My thoughts are with you all.

I graduated high school with Meagan. Even though we never really talked much, I definitely remember how I was envious of how smart she was. She was always kind and a bit quiet in class. After reading about this tragedy, I can't even imagine the grief felt by everyone who knows her. This is just heartbreaking! To Meagan's family and friends, please accept my condolences. I'm so sorry for your loss of such a beautiful, smart, loving person. Take it one day at a time.
