Dale K. Benner
Dale K. Peanuts Benner, 61, of Richlandtown, died Wednesday, April 14, in Chestnut Hill Hospital, Philadelphia. For the past 10 years, he worked in the warehouse of Kwik Goal, Quakertown. Previously, he was a set-up man for the Intelligencer Newspaper, Doylestown, for more than 20 years. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of Robert W. Benner of Richlandtown and the late Melba V. (Slotter) Benner. He was an Army veteran, serving in Germany. He was a member of American Legion Post 242, Quakertown, Quakertown Moose Lodge 1622 and the Coopersburg Fire Company Social Club. Survivors: Father; sons, Randal Benner of Belmont, N.C., Scott Benner of Allentown; daughter, Stacey Robinson of Waxhaw, N.C.; grandchilden, Jason Robinson, Michael Benner, Austin Robinson, Matthew Benner and Zoey Benner; brothers, Dalton Benner, Jerry Benner and Durrell Smokey Benner, all of Coopersburg. Services: call 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N. Ambler St., Quakertown. Interment, private. Contributions: St. Johns United Church of Christ, P.O. Box 356, Richlandtown 18955.
