Suzanne Basinger Obituary
BASINGER
SEP. 18, 1949 - APR. 2, 2016
Suzanne "Bear Cat" Basinger, 66, passed away on April 2, 2016. She was the oldest of 9 children, resided in Los Banos as a young girl and graduated Los Banos High School in 1967.
She lived in Stockton and was a Psychiatric Technician for the State of California. She was a hard working single mother of one. Suzanne provided a good life for her son, Brian. She had a big heart and a giving spirit with great character and morals that have been passed on to her family to this day.
Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents Billy Joe and Mary Sue Basinger; her siblings Glenda Avila, Vickie Roses, and Billy Ray Basinger.
She is survived by her loving son, Brian Basinger, Sr.; daughter-in-law April Basinger; grandson Brian "Christopher" Basinger, Jr.; brother Mickey Basinger; sisters, Beverly Capel, Debbie Manzanedo, Lisa Basinger, and Brenda Baker.
Private services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 in Stockton. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapels~Los Banos.

I am very saddened to have just read of the passing of this beautiful woman. Although I have not seen her for some years, I was always in awe of her huge heart and awesome strength. Anyone who knew her will surely miss that infectious laugh and smile!!! RIP Bear-Cat...

I am truly saddened to hear of Suzanne's death. We went through psychiatric technician training and worked together at Stockton developmental Center in Stockton. Suzanne was a great friend and one of the kindest persons I've known. My sympathies to her family.

So very sorry to hear of Suzanne's passing. I worked and commuted to work with her for many years at Stockton Developmental Center. We had some great times and was always appreciative of her work and friendship. My sincere condolences to Brian and April and their family. Be comforted to know that she is now with Jesus and will forever be your guardian angel. Rest peacefully in paradise.

I'm at a loss for words.. Aunt Sue and I share a special bond. Even though we lived states apart after I moved from California. She and I knew the loved we shared for each other in our hearts! She guided me when I needed guiding. Her son, my cousin Brian was like a older brother 2 me. I'm so sorry Brian! The tears that are running down my face are joyful memories of fun, food, and games when I lived with you guys.. I love her and you to the fullest and always will!
