Jacob Schuh Jr., age 84, of Chowchilla, CA, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Chowchilla, CA. He was born on May 21, 1928 in Elk Grove, CA USA to his parents, Mr. Jacob Schuh Sr. and Mrs. Christine Schuh.
Jacob was the youngest of seven children. He  married Dorothy Harris in El Nido, CA on November 27, 1948. They had three children. He attended Fresno State College. He worked in Civil Engineering. He was a long-time resident of Chowchilla, CA for fifty-nine years. He was self employed  as a farmer for sixty-five years. Jacob was a member of El Nido Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed flying, fishing and hunting.
Jacob will be remembered by his loving wife and their children Deborah Lynn Janssen, Gary Russell, and Roger Jacob; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by his parents and siblings.
A Visitation Service was held 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, May 13, 2013 at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel 140 S. 6th St. in Chowchilla, CA. and Funeral Service for Jacob at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Cornerstone Church 208 Fig Tree Rd Chowchilla, CA. Burial will follow at Chowchilla District Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gideons International 5029 E. Nevada Ave. Fresno, CA 93747.
