CARL LEASE Obituary
Carl F. Lease passed away on October 7, 2010. He was one of the funniest, sweetest, kindhearted grouch of a man you could have ever met. He always knew how to brighten up your day. Even if he just gave you a smile. His number one passion was softball. He could talk about it for days. His wife Helena was his one and only true love. He was admired for his sense of humor and his time served in the U.S. Air Force.
Carl had many hobbies but his favorite ones were fishing, hunting, and asking "Are you married." He was a big flirt at heart. He was always looked after by his son P.J., grandson Zach and his faithful nurse Christy. He was mostly admired by his buddy A.J. He had many friends and loved each and everyone of them. His favorite place to be was at J & R Donuts, with one of his greatest friends Tom along with all his buddies. He will be truly missed and always remembered and we will love you forever Carl.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service for Carl at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Family Funeral Chapel of Atwater.

I first met Carl in Modesto shortly after he married G. Helena McCracken, more than fifty years ago. Helena was the soloist at my weddding the next year. Old photos and treasured memories keep them both alive in my heart.

Carl & Helena were two of the most wonderful people I've ever known. As a very young man playing softball with Carl he always treaed us young guys as equal adults. He was such a competator on the field but so friendly off of it. They have endured such heartbreak and now we know they all can be a "complete" family again in our Lord's house.
