Grandma, I love you and I am thankful for all that we shared and all of the memories I can someday share with my children. Life is actually death and death is life. So I am happy that you have finally been released into eternity and been set free from the misery of this life. I can just imagine you in Heaven singing and praising with the KING OF KINGS!! Being reunited with grandpa to live eternity in peace. Wow, I cannot wait to get there!! I love you!!
It's hard to say good-bye to someone that you love, although you know they are safe with JESUS up above. It doesn't make a difference if they are in their later years. It only means more memories to carry through the years. Don't let yourselves forget, we each have numbered days. For reasons that we do not know GOD wanted it this way. Tears wash away the pain, but it can't remove the love. The memories live forever safe in GOD'S hands above. So today we give thanks for the lives we chance to share. No matter if they are short or long GOD will always be there.
It is never too soon to accept CHRIST but at any moment it can be too late. GOD bless!!

I still cant believe she is gone. To anyone who was at the service today, thank you for coming...it was just exactly what she wanted. To those who weren't able to make it, thank you for your kind words and prayers.

Its sad to know she will no longer be with us but a sence of peace is present knowing she now resides in heaven. Madeline played so many roles and touched so many lives. I had the pleasure of knowing her as my bestfriends grandmother and a sweet lady to me. To know her was a blessing. May you rest in peace Madeline.

My children (Kate and Chris Birkmaier) and myself had the great honor of living next door to Madeline and Al on Sunset Drive for 10 years. What a amazing lady.....she will be missed. Her family certainly was her greatest joy and love.

I will always miss you, but I am so thankful that you are at peace and reunited with grandpa. I was a lucky kid to have had a grandmother who was more like a mother and gave anything and everything to make us all smile, and I am a lucky woman to have had such an amazing example to live by. I hope you and grandpa are folk dancing in the heavens and i'll do all I can to make you proud. I love you so very much.
Until we meet again...
