Ralph A. Woodman
Resident of San Jose
Ralph Arthur Woodman, 1924-2010, son of Ralph and Minnie Woodman was born on the pioneer property of his grandparents, Natale and Olympic Beltramo in San Bruno. He was raised a true San Bruno boy, attending local schools, San Mateo High School, and the Univ. Of San Francisco. He led a full life, serving in the Marine Corps during WWII. He moved to San Jose with his family in 1952.
"Grandpa Ralph" passed away peacefully on Monday, October 11, 2010 at the age of 86. You would recognize him riding his red scooter around smiling and talking to all. He was a kind soul that all who knew him will miss him. In his younger years he volunteered at Rosemary School and was Santa Claus for the local children for ten years.
He is survived by his daughter Gail Chapman of Newman, CA and son Mark Woodman of Australia, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Ellinor.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lucy's Catholic Parish in Campbell. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Local arrangements by DARLING FISCHER CAMPBELL MEMORIAL CHAPEL.

Grandpa Ralph we have many wonderful memories of you, especially when you visited us in Australia. I remember the Christmas you brought so many presents to put under our Christmas tree much to the absolute delight of your grandchildren Andrew and Krista.
