Resident of San Jose
Wife of the late Burton Laney. Beloved mother of Bill (Becky) Laney of Utah and Linda Laney Zenner of Colorado. Sister to the late Donald K. "Bud" Fischer; granddaughter of the late Ethel and Gustave Fischer of San Jose. Proud grandmother of five grandchildren; great grandmother of three granddaughters.
Graduated San Jose State College 1937; secretary in San Jose Unified School District until 1980.
Memorial Service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Darling-Fischer Chapel of the Hills, 615 N.Santa Cruz Ave, Los Gatos, CA. Flowers may be sent to the Chapel of the Hills. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation at JDRF.org.

Snookie was a grand person whose company and wit I enjoyed for the past 35 years. She will be missed by many and remembered by even more. Heaven is a better place today and we send our sympathies to those of us left here without her.
