May passed away on Wednesday, 9/22/10 peacefully in her home. She touched many lives with her gentle spirit and positive outlook on life.
May was born in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to San Jose in 1960 and earned a BA in Education and an MBA in Management from San Jose State University. She worked as an Educator in Cupertino School District for more than 10 years. Then, she transition to Human Resources working for the State of California. May retired in 1985 and enjoyed travel, exercising, knitting, mah jong, dancing and other activities with the Almaden Senior group.
May is survived by her devoted children, Allen Hu and Chris (Joan) Hu, both of San Jose. Also her Grandchildren, Alaine Hu, Collin Hu and Jennifer Hu. She is survived by her sisters, Victoria Tong, Helene Chan and Mary Ann Tan and her brother William Eng.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Friday, Oct 1, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Darling & Fischer, Chapel of the Hills, 615 N. Santa Cruz Ave., Los Gatos, CA 95030. Interment services will be at a later date.

One year had passed so quickly and we still miss Aunt May. It is very so for my mum, her best friend over 60 years. She is such a nice and charming lady. May God be always be with her and Uncle Bill.
