To Loretta's Family,
I was saddened to learn of your mother's passing. She was a kindhearted, generous person who also had a special ability to make others enjoy being in her company. She could tell a Great story!!!!'
I worked with Loretta at the Blossom Hill Office back in the 70's, and have many fond memories of her. She was the guiding hand behind the creation of the Office Cookbooks and a fantastic cook herself! I am glad to have known Loretta, and realize you have a great loss. Please accept my sympathy, and I wish you strength and peace during this difficult time.

To the Rubida family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his LOVE, PEACE, and STRENGTH in this time of sorrow. She is with GOD now and she is at peace and in no pain anymore. It's hard losing your mom i know. You just take one day at a time and give yourself time to heal. There is going to be times when just hearing her name will make you cry, seeing her favorite things, her favorite foods she liked. And in time all of that will get easier to handle and you will begin to smile of the memories you have of your mom, and that is when you are begenning to heal. The pain doesn't go away but it gets easier to handle. May she R.I.P :)

Grandma-
I miss you so much. Thank you for all the years we've spent together. I will never forget all the things you did for me and all the time we would go shopping for our Birthdays. You are leaving behind so many great memories, and these memories are what get me through each day. We know you and grandpa are basking in the sun on the islands of Hawaii! Rest in Peace Grandma, you will forever be missed.

This just hurts. Loretta was like a mother to me. Such a good example of what a supervisor should be. Such a great cook. Who could forget breakfast mess or our great Thanksgiving feasts. So many pleasant memories. I loved her. Kelly Jo Garvin

To Loretta's family: I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Loretta's beautiful and ready smile at my antics at work. I was a young Eligibility Worker in South County and it "took a Village", that is the whole office, to keep me reined in! Loretta was smiling and shaking her head at me at least once a week. I teased her about being lucky she was not my immediate supervisor. She was glad of the that fact! I also remember her cooking for the office potlucks, she was a great cook! My deepest sympathy to the whole family.

Our lunch table will have one less chair but your spirit will always be with us. You brought us humor and laughter and could tell us a story as no other. Ultimately we will be a table of five again when we meet in Heaven.
