Pagano

Formerly of Millbrae

Died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at the Hospice House in Bend, Oregon. She was 91.

A public viewing and family visitation will be held from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, November 5th, at Chapel of the Highlands Funeral Home in Millbrae. A Cryptside Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 6th at 1:00pm, at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma. A procession from the funeral home to the cemetery will begin at 12:00pm.

"Jay" was born February 18, 1919, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Cali) Affrunti. She married Louis G. Pagano on September 1, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, and he preceded her in death in 1999, after 59 years of marriage! Mrs. Pagano was a homemaker and mom, as well as an Electronics Technician for Lenkurt Electronics in San Carlos for over 33 years. She belonged to the Millbrae Newcomers Club and was a member of St. Dunstan's Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.

Survivors include her son Dr. George (wife Jaime) Pagano of Sunriver; grandson Mark (wife Shari) Pagano; and step great-grandson Jordan, all of Foster City, CA. She is preceded in death by her husband; sister Rose Colorafi; and brother Bernard Affrunti.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jay's memory to Partners in Care Hospice, 2075 NE Wyatt Ct. Bend, OR 97701. Baird Funeral Home of Bend, Oregon, is in charge of arrangements (541) 382-0903.
