Lorraine Franke Obituary
Resident of Burlingame
Passed away peacefully on October 8, 2010, at the age of 86. She is survived by her daughters Kathleen Wipprecht (William), Gloria Franke and Barbara Seliga (Thom); granddaughter Patricia McGough and great-grand daughter Madison. Preceded in death by her husband and High School Sweetheart Ed Franke.
Lorraine was born and raised in San Francisco, attended Aptos Jr. High and Balboa High School. With a loving family and many life-long friends Lorraine graced and enriched the lives of everyone she knew. She was a lifelong Member of the California Druids Green Valley Circle #73 and the Balboa Dolls. She was active in the Serra Bowling Team, Mahjong Club, Millbrae Bridge Club, and traveled with the Conquistadores Motor Home Club. Lorraine will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors
Memorial services will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 28th, at The Chapel of the Highlands, 194 Millwood Drive, Millbrae. A "Celebration of Life" will follow at Green Hills Country Club, 500 Ludeman Lane, Millbrae.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lorraine's name to The Druids Scholarship Awards Program, c/o Bill DeWitt; 1645 Deardorf Lane, Concord, Ca 94519
