Resident of San Lorenzo
Richard Rampone went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born on Feb 3, 1931 to Reno and Marie Rampone. He was preceded in death by his parents Reno and Marie Rampone; son Jerry Rampone; and his only sibling Marion "Tootsie" Ram-pone.
Rich is survived by his wife, Betty Rampone; son Glenn Rampone and daughter-in-law Kim; grandchildren Genna, Kerri and Louie; nephews Rick Wunn, Ronnie Wunn; and nieces Debra Gonsalves and Cheryl Toll.
Rich was a member of Village Baptist Church of San Lorenzo. He loved the Lord, his church, and the ministry of Pastor Kevin Waldrop.
The Rampone family would like to thank all of the staff at Eden Hospital, the nurses and doctors who gave him excellent care and the staff at Baywood Court Health Center in Castro Valley.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Village Baptist Church, 1535 Bock-man Road, San Lorenzo, CA 94580. Family and friends are invited to the Visitation from 9 to 10:30am and the Funeral Service at 10:30am on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward. Betty I was so sadden to hear that Richard had passed, I wish someone from the church would of called me. You know how much I love you both. I will never forget Richard's smiling face and how much he loved the Lord. If I can be of any help to you, please let me know. Love Lori Bailey
