Ruth Lindeburg
Resident of San Carlos, Ca., since 1945
Aug. 14, 1910-Dec. 1, 2010
Ruth was 100+ years old. Born in Tooele, Utah and was one of 9 children. She lived on a farm until she graduated from Nursing School. Ruth worked as a Nurse for many years. She was a caring, loving person and loved by everyone. Ruth was active in Eastern Star and her church.
Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill Lindeburg.
Ruth was a devoted wife and mother of Vera Lindeburg, Emerald Hills, and Frankie Eakes, San Anselmo, grandmother of Laurie Tipp and Juliene Brown, of San Carlos, Bradford Eakes, San Anselmo. Great Grandmother of Nicholas and Andrew Brown of San Carlos.
Ruth worked many years in the family business of Lindeburg & Co. in San Carlos. Ruth had a great sense of humor. Ruth and Bill Lindeburg moved to San Carlos in 1945 at the end of World War II and they both immediately became involved on the activities of San Carlos. She will be missed by everyone.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at 11:00a.m at the Mormon Church on Edgewood Road in Redwood City.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the San Carlos Youth Center. Send to: Vera Lindeburg, 1770 Cordilleras Road, Emerald Hills, CA 94062. Ruth had a great love for children. Crippen & Flynn

I always enjoyed visiting with Mrs. Lindeburg in her store, starting around 1966 when the store was located in SF. She was a lovely woman and knew how to treat her customers. I remember how she would have her little dog say a prayer while we were in the store. My condolences to all of her family.

I have fond memories of growing up in the house across the street from Ruth, Bill and girls. What warm and fun memories. Ruth's humor was the best ever...so down to earth and heartfelt. Rest in peace dear Ruth. You will be missed greatly.
