Went to be with the Lord on September 23, 2010.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 32 years, Marvin Derry. Loving children John Maruffi, Kim Maruffi, Cheryl Rasmussen and Crystal McKay. Devoted sisters Rosalie Joiner and Kitty Heggem. Adoring Yorkie, Bella. Proceeded in death by her parents, Elias Rosendo and Ana Maria Salazar.
Viewing Wednesday Sept. 29, 2010 at 4:00pm Funeral Service Thursday Sept. 30, 2010 at 10:00am at Chapel of Flowers Funeral Home. 900 S. 2nd St. San Jose, CA. Burial to follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Kim, I just recently found out about Pat. I am heart sick for you, John, and Marvin. I, too, have wonderful memories of your mom and how kind she was to me. I know it's been a long time, but know that I am thinking of you.

Kim & John, your mom loved you so much. She is at peace now and remember she will always be there when you need a helping hand. It's good to talk with her when you need to do so. Dear Kim & Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I will always remember Pat as such a caring person who was a mother to all. I loved to sit and talk with her about anything & everything. She always made me feel so welcome. I will hold her fondly in my memory and in my heart. Prayers and best wishes to you.

Kim, John and Marvin; I was so sad to hear about Pat. She was always such a sweet and fun lady. I have many fond memories of spending time at the house with Kim and Pat after school. I will never forget what a neat person she was. Her personality was truly one of a kind. Of course, I would be remiss if I did not mention that her enchiladas were the absolute best! To this day, every time I smell Jean Nate, even after all of these years, I always think of her. Love ya Kim and thinking of you all during this sad time.
