Theodore Schrakamp Obituary
Resident of Petaluma
July 12, 1929-Dec.28, 2010 (previously of San Jose). A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathy Schrakamp and his seven children Susan (Michael) Mazikowski, Cindy (Ed) Bartholomew, Teddi Schrakamp, Jeff (Debbie) Schrakamp, Christine Carter, Susan (Andy) Hill, and Brandi Carter. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Laurie, Kristen, Niki, Alex, Dani, Sami, Jack, Owen and Michael, and one great-grandson, Caden. Ted was born in Brooklyn, New York to Josephine Connor Schrakamp and Arnold Bernard Marie Theodore Schrakamp and raised in Houston, Texas. He spent most of his adult life in Northern California. He was the eldest of 10 and is survived by siblings Molly Barton, Ann Philpot, Nick Schrakamp, Carolyn McCants, Ben Wills, Glenn Wills, Ron Wills and Diana Sue Wills and is predeceased by Marguerite Franovich. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Tom (Katia) Healy.
Ted was a retired Engineer from Memorex/Unisys. He was proud to have served his country in the Korean War as a U.S. Marine. He will be remembered for his love of family, sense of humor, contagious laugh, and nurturing wisdom. Ted enjoyed watching sports, discussing history and reading about aviation.
Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

So sorry for your loss of Teddy. He was my cousin and always so nice. He was special to me and my mother(Martha Connor) because he looked just a little bit like my daddy(Ralph Connor). He will truly be missed by Mother, my two sisters(Pam & Cathy) & I. God Bless all of you with your loss.
