Agnes Bettencourt Obituary

Agnes Costa Bettencourt

Resident of San Jose

Passed away peacefully on January 11, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Marion Bettencourt, she is survived by her loving daughters, Bernice Gerbo and Patricia Peterson, and son-in-law Tom Peterson.

Agnes was born and raised in Bristol, Rhode Island, where she met and married Marion on June 5, 1938. She worked and lived there until 1999, when she moved to California. Agnes will be remembered as a determined, hard-working and fun loving woman. She loved cooking and baking home made desserts which were always delicious. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Jan. 13th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 20101 McKean Rd., San Jose. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Los Altos.
